1. Who We Are

CrewLeads ("we", "our", "us") is a product of Rider Painting Inc. We provide a lead generation and intelligence platform for trade contractors at getcrewleads.com. For privacy questions, contact us at info@getcrewleads.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account and use our services:

Account information: name, email address, company name, trade type, and password (hashed, never stored in plaintext)
Profile and preferences: service area (state and counties), business tagline, phone number
Billing information: payment details processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number
Usage data: pages visited, features used, sync history, and error logs to improve the platform
Lead enrichment data: contact details you look up via our skip-trace integration are stored on our servers associated with your account

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage (not third-party cookies) to cache lead data, your preferences, and your session token between visits. No cross-site tracking cookies are set by CrewLeads. Third-party services (Google Fonts, Stripe, Tailwind CDN) may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies.

4. How We Use Your Information

To operate and personalize your CrewLeads account and generated outreach templates
To process payments through Stripe
To pull building permit data, property records, and contact information from our data partners on your behalf
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts) via Resend
To monitor errors and improve platform stability
To enforce our Terms of Service and plan limits

5. Third-Party Services

CrewLeads integrates with the following third parties to deliver its features. Each has its own privacy policy:

Stripe – payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
Clerk – user authentication (clerk.com/legal/privacy)
Apify – web scraping and data extraction (apify.com/privacy-policy)
Shovels.ai – building permit data (shovels.ai/privacy)
Tracerfy – skip tracing / owner contact lookup
Google Maps Platform – geographic data and mapping (policies.google.com/privacy)
Resend – transactional email delivery

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except: (a) as necessary to provide the services listed above; (b) if required by law or legal process; (c) to protect the rights, property, or safety of CrewLeads, our users, or the public.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and lead data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your user record and all associated lead data. Billing records may be retained as required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices including JWT-based session tokens, bcrypt password hashing (via Clerk), TLS encryption in transit, and PostgreSQL with role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@getcrewleads.com.

10. Children

CrewLeads is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice.
